My first foray into astrology was over 30 years ago, when I encountered Isabel Hickey’s Astrology: A Cosmic Science. Initially skeptical, after using the included ephemeris to hand calculate my chart I was blown away by how accurate a portrayal of my deepest inner workings was revealed. Today, I’m still continually amazed as I uncover even deeper nuances through advanced techniques.

Everything changed when I first encountered Hellenistic astrology and the ancient traditions. Not only was I presented with a somewhat harsher and more fatalistic approach, but I discovered timing techniques that were shocking in their accuracy. Ever the student, I am constantly learning “new” ancient techniques that continue to amaze.

Alongside consultations I build astrological software, which is where a lot of my thinking happens. Developing apps around whole sign houses and zodiacal releasing forces a precision you don’t get from reading about a technique alone. I also follow mundane astrology closely, though I don’t usually bring that to a consultation.

I’m currently deepening my study of electional astrology, choosing charts for weddings, launches, and other beginnings. It isn’t something I sell yet. When I can defend an election to another astrologer, it will appear on the readings page.
